holiday, or some money. Which option would you suggest her? 
Answer: 
Right! If I were her, I would believe that an incredible holiday is the best 
ideal choice among three options: laptop, holiday or some money because of the 
following reasons. 
 Firstly, travel broadens the mind. She is able to integrate with cultural 
activities, traditions and local customs of place what she wants to go. Secondly, 
not only does she offer many change to travel through an unfamiliar country or 
area in order to learn about it but also she can get time to relax. Lastly, a holiday 
may cost a lot of money if you fail to plan before you travel. For example: If 
you book before about 3 or 4 months, you will get tickets on the cheap. 
Actually, I don’t choose a laptop because I believe it may distract her 
study. For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose a holiday as the best choice for 
her. 
Situation 2: You have seen your neighbor’s son playing game at the 
Internet shop many times. What will you do: inform his parents, talk to him or 
talk to the shop owner? 
Answer: 
Well, before I have to choose among three options: Talking with his 
parents, with him or with shop owner. Let’s talk about all of them. 
Firstly, I reliably ignore option talking with shop assistant. They don’t 
want to lose their custom thus I believe that they won’t care about it. Moreover, 
they can be annoying and claim that I obstruct their work. Secondly, if I talk to 
him, maybe he speaks one way and acts another. It easy for him to change 
Internet shop and he is able to continue to play more and more. Therefore, the 
best ideal choice is talking with his parents. They will have several ways to 
manage their son such as cutting his pocket money, putting him under control... 
Besides, he spends a huge time with his parents so they have a much stronger 
impact than everybody include himself. 
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose talking to his parents as the best 
choice for me. 
Situation 3: Your friend who is a teacher complains that many her 
students do not do homework. She is considering the punishment among three 
options: ask the students to rewrite the task 10 times, require them to stand at 
the classroom corner for one hour, or ask the students give some money. Which 
do you think is the best choice? 
Answer: 
Well, before I have to choose among three options: respecting students 
rewrite the task 10 times, stand at the classroom corner, or give some money. 
Let’s talk about all of them. 
Firstly I reliably ignore option asking them to give some money. Relating 
punishment with money is inappropriate to students. Moreover, they will reckon 
that money makes the mare go. Thus it has adverse effects to them. Secondly, 
although requiring them to keep at the classroom corner is the better way but it 
is wasted their time and hers. My friends said that there were many her student 
didn’t finish homework so it is hard to reduce them to silence. In my opinion, 
the best punishment is asking them to rewrite the task 10 times. Students have 
to finish their homework which they don’t do it before. Besides, rewriting 
several times makes easier to absorb knowledge. 
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose requiring students to rewrite the 
task 10 times as the best choice for her. 
 Situation 4: Your friend’s class is discussing whether they should takes 
photo to celebrate graduation. They are considering three options: taking photo 
with formal clothes, taking photo with informal clothes, or taking no photo at 
all. Which do you think is the best choice? 
Answer: 
Well, before I have to choose among three options: Taking no photos, 
taking with formal clothes, or with informal clothes. Let’s talk about all of 
them. 
Firstly, I reliably ignore option taking no photos at all. Graduation is a 
significant anniversary at the end of school’s life. It's a pity if my friend’s class 
doesn’t do something to keep the memorable moments. Secondly, whereas 
formal clothes relevant to the atmosphere of ceremony, the formal clothes make 
individual to become unique. In my opinion, formal clothes are the best choice. 
Not only be a photograph with the same kind of costume will awesome, but also 
it shows the solidarity of collective. 
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose taking photos with formal clothes 
as the best choice for them. 
Situation 5: You see a boy who is bullied. What will you do: talk to his 
teacher, talk to his parents, or talk with his friends? 
Answer: 
Well, before I have to choose among three options: Talking with his 
parents, with his friends or with his teacher. Let’s talk about all of them. 
Firstly I reliably ignore option reporting his situation to his parents. They 
can make a storm in a teacup. Harmful behaviors can be happened to defend 
their son. Maybe he will learn what they live. It has adverse effects to him. In 
my opinion, talking with his teacher is the best choice for me. It is easy to his 
teacher to find out about the incident. Since she compasses their students than 
anyone, the solution will be solved. Maybe some people consider that talking 
with his friends are better but the case is able to out of control. 
 For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose talking with his teacher as the best 
choice for me.

Situation 1: You have a Sunday evening out with your friends. There are three 
suggestions: seeing a movie, going shopping or singing karaoke. Which one 
would you choose? 
Answer: 
Well, if I have to make decision among three options above, I would choose 
going shopping for a Sunday evening with my friends. There are several reasons 
for my choice. First of all, you know, I as  ...  to my friend for 3 
following reasons: 
Firstly, I don’t think talk to the internet shop owner is a good choice because 
,you know, this is his bread and butter so for him, the more game players come 
the more money he gains. I think he never ban his customers who play game 
 and bring profit for him just because someone is your neigbour’s son and you 
tell him that the boy plays game so many. 
Secondly, I have no doubt that inform his parents they will ask him to stop 
going to the internet shop; however it can lead to some consequences. As far as 
I know, some parents are very bad-tempered and they might reproach or even 
apply corporal punishment in their son. Sometimes, these launch their children 
on a path of anti-social behaviours or struggle against parents’ opinion. 
Last but not least, with adolescence people who are able to responsible for their 
life therefore, we are friend, I will talk to him, figure out the drawbacks of his 
activity, and persuade him to stop playing game a lot or reduce time go to the 
internet shop. His life should be decided by himself not anyone.

Situation 1: 
Well, you know, if I have to decide among 3 types of jobs: a telephone operator, 
a hotel receptionist and a tourism agent, I think that a tourism agent would be 
the mosy ideal job. There are 3 main reasons why I am for a tourism agent. 
In the first place, this kind of job brings me a lot of chances to communicate 
with foreigners who come from different countries. That helps me improve my 
communication skill which is neccessary for my future job . Also I can make 
more friends and broaden my relationship network 
Secondly, the more I travel, the more knowledge I gain of beautiful landscapes 
in Vietnam as well as other parts of the world. As a result, I have a deeper 
understanding of languages, cultures and customs of these areas. 
Last but not least, 
Actually, I don’t choose a telephone operator since I will not have a chance to 
communicate directly with customers. And being a hotel receptionist may 
require to follow a lot of rules which make me uncomfortable. 
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose a tourism agent as the best ideal job for 
me. 
 Situation 2: 
If I have to choose among 3 options: in the university dormitory, in a rented 
house with friends or at home and travel 50 kilometers a day, I think that stay in 
a rented house with friends is the best choice. There are 2 main reasons why I 
am for a rented house. 
Firstly, I can choose a rented house near my school which makes everything 
convenient. 
Secondly, living with friends brings a lot of benefits. For example: we can share 
the rent, do homework together. 
Actually I don’t choose to stay in the university dormitory because I will have 
to share a room with a lot of people and it doesn’t have enough house facilities 
which makes everything inconvenient. Staying at home and travel 50 kilometers 
a day is not a good choice, either. It takes a lot of time to go to school which 
makes me tired and can’t focus on learning any subject after that. 
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose to stay in a rented house with friends as 
the most suitable choice for me. 
Situation 3: 
If I have to choose among 3 options: a collection of essays, a class of photo 
book or a class video, I think that a class video is the best choice. There are 2 
main reasons why I am in favor of a class video. 
Firstly, a class video records real emotions and voices which is amazing and 
unforgettable. 
Secondly, it can be stored as a soft copy so we don’t have to worry about being 
lost or damaged. 
Actually I don’t support for a collection of essays because it’s boring. Some 
people may have so much on their mind but don’t know how to put it in words 
and some people don’t have enough patience to read everything. Moreover, a 
class of photo book sounds great but it can’t be real as a class video. 
For all the reasons I put above, I’ll choose a class video as the best ideal choice 
for me. 
Situation 4: 
Well, if I have to decide among 3 activities to celebrate the Woman’s Day in 
class: a class party, a beauty contest in class or a karaoke night, I suppose that a 
class party would be the best ideal choice. There are 2 main reasons why I 
support for a class party. 
Firstly, it’s simple to organization. We don’t have to think about the place 
where the party will be held since we can use the classroom after study. 
Secondly, we just need to prepare some snacks and drinks which is cheap for 
students. 
Actually I don’t choose a beauty contest because it takes a lot of time and I 
don’t think a lot of girls want to participate in that contest. A karaoke night is 
not a good choice since not everyone can go out late and the price for singing 
karaoke on Woman’s Day is costly. 
For all the reasons I put above, I’ll choose a class party as the best activity to 
celebrate the Woman’s Day in class. 
Situation 5: 
If I have to suggest for my friend among 3 options for a part – time job: a shop 
assistant, a home tutor, a baby sitter, I think a shop assistant is the best choice. 
There are 3 main reasons why I support for a shop assistant. 
In the first place, this work gives her have some soft skills which is needed for 
her future job. 
Secondly, being a shop assistant brings her a lot of chance to communicate with 
several kinds of people. 
Finally, it helps her more active and flexible since she is quite shy. 
Actually, I am not for a baby sitter because it’s kind of boring and she hates 
children. About a home tutor, although this work has good salary and she 
 doesn’t have to spend a lot a time per day, it doesn’t provide skills that needed 
for her field of work. 
For all the reasons I put above, I’ll choose a shop assistant as the best ideal part 
– time job for her.

Topic 1: Taking photos is beneficial to people: reduce stress, save memories, 
improve imagination, (your own idea) 
Well, you know, to my way of thinking, photography brings a numeruos 
advantages for people. There are three main reasons to explain for that. The first 
thing I would mention is that taking photos help you realese stress. Everyday, 
you must face up with the pressure of working, therefore, when you feel tired 
and stress, you should go to somewhere yourself or with your best friend and 
take a lot of picture. Hmm, I think you will feel more comfortable and relax. 
Moreover, it is also the best way to you to save memories. You can show off the 
beautiful photos with your friends or your relatives. Another benefit of 
photography is that you can make money with it. I mean that taking photos is 
also a career. For instance, younger brother of my mother extremely loves 
photographing. Honestly, he is keen on with cameras, so he often recieves to 
take wedding photographies or yearbook photographies to get money. In a 
nutshell, I believe that taking photos is good for us. 
Topic 2: Online learning is beneficial to students: flexible, affordable, 
convineint, (your idea) 
Well, you know, in my point of view, studying from the internet is useful for 
students. There are several reasons to explain for that. First and foremost, 
instead of going to the English center, you can learn yourself with a computer. It 
is not only flexible but it is also affordable. I mean that students feel more 
comfortable and more initiative. Moreover, online learning courses are quite 
 cheap, so pupils are likely to pay for each course. Besides, learning from 
internet is very convenient. For example, when students are asked to read 
additional materials of the topic to complete an assignment, it is easier with 
available materials online. In conclusion, students can gain numerous 
adventages from online learning. 
Topic 3: Childhood is the most important time of a person’s life: developing 
physical health; forming personalities; learning things fast (your idea) 
Well, you know, person’s childhood are the most impotant years of a person’s 
lives. There are three reasons to explain for that. Firstly, childhood is the best 
time to develop a child’s physical health. Futher more, it is the most important 
times of a person’s life because they are foundation of a man’s personality. In 
this years, childs learn a lot about life by observing the other people around us. 
Especially, by observing, a kid can learn easily everything around him that he 
sees and even it is quite fast. For instance, parents always teach their children 
how to behave with the other people whan their children were baby. And all of 
them will learn follow their parents without confusing. In my point of view, the 
childhood years is the most convenience time for a person to have a careful 
preparation for the future. 
Topic 4: Healthy breakfast is the best meal for your health: healthy body; good 
work/study concentration; disease prevention, (your idea) 
Well, you know, breakfast is the most impotant meal for people’s health. There 
are several reasons to illustrate for that. The first thing I would mention is that 
breakfast is good for your healthy body. It not only gives you the energy you 
need to get things done and helps you focus at work or at school, but it also 
prevents from diseases. Eating breakfast has long term health benefits. It can 
reduce obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. In conclusion, 
breakfast really is the most important of the day. 
Topic 5: Internet is a good source to collect information: easy access; rich 
information; low cost (your idea) 
 Well, you know, there are various sources for us to collect information, but 
internet is the good source. First of all, the first thing we can realize that the 
internet helps us gather materials quickly, easily without taking much effort and 
save maximum time. Secondly, thank to the internet, you can access the 
documents at anytime and anywhere: at school, bedroom, hospital, café and so 
on. Last but not least, the internet documantation has a high updated. As we 
know the internet always update information every hour, every minute, even 
every second. Therefore, we will have a latest source about the issue that we 
concern. In a nutshell, internet is a good material to collect information. 
TOPIC 6: Stress 
Well, you know, as for me, some elements are responsible for stress at work. 
There are three main reasons to explain for that. Well, first of all, the main thing 
you need to know is weak management which leaves employees feeling they 
don’t have a sense of direction and lack control over work activities. This 
results in the vagueness of the work for every employee when they don’t know 
exactly what duties and tasks are offered. On top of that I also add is high 
workloads with dealines making people feel rushed, under pressure and 
overwhelmed. For example, my sister works as an inspector of accounts. 
Everyday, she has to handle a pack of documents and the accounts to make a 
financial report. She has no time to relax and take care of her family while the 
work is too much. And she gets into trouble a series of angries and can’t control 
her behaviours. Something else that I need to comment on is poor working 
environments such as excessive heat, cold or noise, inadequate lighting, 
uncomfortable seating, malfunctioning equipment. In conclusion, there are 
many reasons for stress but three factors mentioned above are quite popular 
with most employees. 
Topic 7: Taking photos 
As you know, photography can make our life happier. Below are some benefits 
of developing a love of photography. The first thing I should mention is that 
taking pictures is a great stress reliever. When you take photos with your friends 
or concentrate on flowers, the wings of a butterfly, a baby smiling instead of 
inextricable problems in life, stressful working hours or sadness, you will forget 
them and feel more comfortable to make a start again. Another point which I 
could add is that photography preserves memories. For instance, just think of 
the wife or husband who has lost a spouse or the child who has lost a parent. 
With pictures, they not only have no fear of one’s lovely face but they also 
remember exactly what was going on when that picture was snapped. In addtion 
to what I’ve just said, I can add that taking photos inspires your imagination. 
Having a beautiful picture of somebody or something requires good graphic 
depicts. This encourages imagination about your styling skills. If you snap 
regularly, definitely you will have many impressive styles. To sum up, taking 
photos is good for people because it has three benefits above at least. 
Topic 8: Online learning 
Well, you know, in my opinion, distance learning brings many benefits for 
students. There are three main advantages to explain for that. Firstly, it is more 
convenient than other methods of learning. You can attend online classes 
anytime, anywhere you have web access. You can also access course materials 
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I usually learn through my computer when going 
out with my friends, maybe at a café shop or a park. Secondly, you'll benefit 
from a flexible schedule, which is extremely helpful if you're balancing your 
education with work and family life. When you want to continue your learning 
after the marriage, online education is the best way because you can access 
anytime without domestic chores. Finally, online programs have lower costs 
than attending a prestigious school. You only have to pay the Internet fees or if 
a small amount of money for materials you want further. In a nutshell, there are 
several advantages of online learning that explains why online learning may be 
the greatest revolution in today’s education.
